Semi-duality relations
Symmetric relations.
Signs of corresponding functions are the same
Function interaction: 1 ↔ 5, 2 ↔ 8, 3 ↔ 7, 4 ↔ 6.
In comparison to the duality relations for the semi-dual ones the interaction of ego and superid blocks is not complete - it goes only to from the function one to the suggestive function 5 (1 ↔ 5). For the couples that have the "minus" sign in the relation 1 ↔ 5, information transfer to the function 5 is more comprehensive. For the couples hat have the "plus" sign in the relation 1 ↔ 5, information that comes to the function 5 is satisfactory by quality but "locality" zones might not overlap ("wrong information"). Because superid receives information not from the "kin" block, there is information hunger in the function 6 and the information coming to the function 5 differs in its quality (it belongs to a different semantic field), which may cause growing dissatisfaction.
Interactions 2 ↔ 8, 3 ↔ 7 are not problematic, individual differences can be respected and smoothed over time.
Interaction 4 ↔ 6 can reveal uncomfortable due to low-dimensionality of these functions. The normative vital track function 6 is rigid and is expecting normatively correct and individually significant reactions of the partner and expects a positive feedback. The one-dimensional function 4 cannot meet these expectations. Usually such a disagreement becomes apparent with time.
